General
What types of projects does Sthapothyo handle?
The full spectrum — architectural design for new buildings, interior design and fit-out, landscape and rooftop design, façade design, 3D visualisation, renovation, custom furniture and site supervision. Residential, commercial and corporate.
Where do you operate?
Our primary area is Dhaka, but we take on projects across Bangladesh. Contact us with your location and we'll confirm availability.
Can you handle the whole project or just the design?
Both. We can design and supervise end-to-end, or provide a specific service such as drawings only, interior only, or landscape only. We'll scope what you need.
Planning & Timeline
How long does it take to get a proposal?
After an initial consultation and site visit, we typically provide a detailed proposal within 3–5 business days.
How long do projects usually take?
It depends on scope. Interior design for an apartment is typically 4–8 weeks of design plus 6–12 weeks on site. A full building design runs 2–4 months before construction. We'll give you a clear timeline before we start.
Can you work around our existing schedule or business hours?
Yes. For commercial clients we can plan disruptive works outside business hours. We'll agree a working schedule upfront.
Cost & Payment
How does pricing work?
Design fees are quoted per project (by area or as a lump sum) and construction/fit-out is itemised — so you know exactly what you're paying for. No hidden fees or surprise additions.
What is the payment structure?
Payments are milestone-based. We agree the schedule at the start and you pay as each stage — concept, drawings, site phases — is completed. We do not take 100% upfront.
Can you work within a specific budget?
Yes. Share your budget during the consultation and we'll design a scope that delivers the best outcome within it. We'd rather be honest about what's achievable than overpromise.
Quality & Materials
What brands and materials do you use?
We specify trusted brands and verified suppliers for paints, tiles, timber, hardware and lighting, and share the full material specification with every proposal.
Do you provide any warranty on your work?
Yes. We provide a workmanship warranty on the works we supervise and remain available post-completion to address any snags. Specific terms are included in your contract.
Can I supply my own materials?
In some cases, yes. Discuss this with us upfront and we'll advise on what works best. We always want material quality to match our design and workmanship standard.
