Design fees in Dhaka are usually quoted per square foot or as a lump sum for the whole package. The number depends on complexity, the level of detail in the drawings and how much site supervision is included.
A simple residential building needs architectural, structural, electrical and plumbing drawings coordinated together — cutting corners here is the most common cause of expensive site changes later.
Ask for an itemised proposal so you can compare like with like, and budget separately for authority fees and soil tests.
